Hi! My name is Krzysztof Szymański and my passion is creating worlds and telling stories. I’ve been working in game development for 5 years, and have nearly 15 years of experience in creative writing. I specialize in writing scripts, developing characters, quests, and events — although I sometimes co-design game mechanics as well.
Do you need someone to create the narrative layer for your project? Looking for unique storytelling techniques? Or maybe you already have a vision and just need help bringing it to life? Write to me or check out my offer so we can create something amazing together!

LORE
Every story must be set in a world. History, beliefs, races, political systems, conflicts, philosophies, and doctrines — I create entire worlds, full of believable life.
STORY
Got a concept in your head and just need a story to go with it? I write plots in every style: thrilling, funny, scary, or emotional. Plot twists guaranteed :)
CHARACTERS
They carry the story, convey emotions, reveal desires, and build conflicts. I write characters with full depth and background — because believable characters are key to a great story.
CUTSCENES
In-game cutscenes are more than just dialogues — they include action, camera movement, pacing, and background dynamics. When writing them, I treat cutscenes as the bridge between one part of the gameplay and the next.
QUESTS
When "Kill the rats in the basement" just doesn’t cut it :) I create multi-threaded, branching quests that use a full range of game mechanics, seamlessly integrate with the narrative, and push the story forward.
TRAILERS SCRIPTS
A trailer is your one shot to tell a story that sells the game. I write trailer scripts for various budgets, considering all aspects — from the story and scenes to the voice actors.
DIALOGUES
Emotion. Interaction. Revealed intentions or concealed ones. The essence of any scene. I write dialogues based on character profiles, their origins, and specific speaking styles.
TUTORIALS
Immersing the player in the game mechanics without making it feel like a tutorial. I write tutorials that are a satisfying start to the adventure, while giving a glimpse of what’s to come..
GAMEPLAY
I love close collaboration with all creators, so I often participate in building the game’s foundations — both for the overall vision and individual mechanics. Story and gameplay must work hand in hand.
